Turtlecat - Calm Sea Sketching Progress and Perspective

I wanted to make this my new background image (the big main image up top you see). The one I have above right now is so old -_- I don't even like it, and I think's not even complete. :\ This image I'm showing right here is actually really old too to be honest ^^; I like it better though, and I never did finish it. I don't even know if I'm doing the perspective right. :P Think I'm going to go back in it anyways, and fix little Turtlecat up a bit. :)

I did some cleaner lines in Adobe Illustrator. Then brought on over into Photoshop to do color. Not sure if I'm actually going to complete the whole set. :\

Turtlecat's new belly :3

So here's a new belly design :) I really like this, compared to the last one which was too simple :P Now, the top shell design I don't like as much : It feels like it's even more complicated from the last one I had. So for now, stick with the older one. What do you think? Do you have any idea's to the top shell? Critiques/suggestions help! :D
